Hey Soulgirl, isn’t everything looking fantastic.
You must be delighted with the progress.
Any idea when you expect to move in?
It’ll be another 3-4 weeks. He’s still got the bathroom, back bedroom, cratch and tongue/groove walling to complete :)
the pictures look fantastic Karen :D
Thanks Shane :) See you on a dance floor soon no doubt :)
Hi Towpath Townie,
I came across your site and boat re-fit picture when searching for information about Myram Carpentry. The picture look great so it must be very exciting watching your boat progress.
I’m new to narrow boats and eventually whan to live on one in the Pewsey to Newbury area. I’m currently looking at a 1980′s, 50ft narrowboat which has practically no interior so will need to be re-fitted, hence my interest in Myram Carpentry.
From reading your blog I see that you like Myram Carpentry because of the professional estimate/quote/drawings, and the progress so far etc. I was wondering if you’d share I little more info about Myram Carpentry with me; to help me decide whether to go for the re-fit option or buy a boat ready to live in.
What would be your guess, based on your re-fit so far, of the cost range and time period of completely fit out (reusing exsting toilet, shower and burner for the sole source of heating) a 50ft boat?
FYI – I will get a quote from Myram Carpentry but can’t do this until I get back from Ireland in about atwo weeks!
Kind regards,
JP
I’ve sent you an email JP :)
