Man & a Van arrived yesterday morning, 10.30am. Lottie and I collated our worldly goods most of which were boxed up anyway. The man/van was lovely. He said £90! I said you’re taking the piss and I’ll pay you the going rate. £150 later we arrived at the Marina. He kept unloading boxes and I thought fuck, will it all fit in?

It did!

We spent last night and to lunch time today unpacking.  Had a lovely Carvery at the Beef & Barge then visited the internet man to pay our dues for the Marina WIFI service.

What I do have to say now is this.  My boat builder, Myram Carpentry, has been FUCKING BRILLIANT!

8 Weeks ago I emailed him amongst others.  Others gave me on line estimates. Myram Carpentry gave me umpteen pages of plans, drawings and estimates.  8 Weeks later Byran gave me my dream.  Can’t believe he knew what I wanted but fuck me, he delivered!  Kudos!  Professional to the end.  Thoroughly recommend him.

In fact, moved in yesterday.  Bryan and his Wife were here.  Welcomed us, and blow me, they’d bought us a bottle of Champagne with a gorgeous message that was far and beyond the job.  Very very very much appreciated.

There is nothing on my boat, that Bryan hasn’t touched, that isn’t perfect.  I’m pretty fussy to be honest, as my mates know, but there’,s nothing I can fault at all.  Nothing!

So, we spent 2 days unpacking, storing, eating, drinking, driving, penultimately building fires and ultimately relaxing, drinking Champagne and watching X Factor from last night on catch up until the TV man arrives tomorrow :D

OMG, what  have we done? LOL
