Fill Her Up!
Yes, today was the first time in around 2 weeks that I could replenish my water supply. We’d not ran out but we did have to make changes in our water usage and managed it very well. I was quite proud of myself!
Mind you, baby-wipe washes aren’t as as fulfilling as a proper shower but needs must right? Indeed they do!
My pontoon’s stand-pipe was still frozen but another tap on the Marina was working so my very kind neighbour (the one who’s car I dented today! Ooops) sourced a very long hose-pipe that reached both our boats. He wasn’t upset about their car but understandably wants the dent removed. Of course, and without question. Thanks for being calm and understanding and for helping me today. He even helped me get my coal in!
Yes, I went out coal shopping today and I’ve changed to Taybrite. I really do fancy trying those wood briquettes that are talked about. If the guy’s not too far away I’m going up to buy some unless I can find some nearer. Anyway, I’ve got a very hot fire and it’s burning well.

I bought my supplies from Spencer who has the Boat Yard to the right of Hilperton Marina. Another very helpful couple with additional information on keeping my stove going all day and night. Thanks you two and I’ll remember that you deliver coal with a discount for larger orders… I’ll get together with some other owners :)
I’m not even going to bother with logs this evening. Going to see if I can keep it going all night like my neighbour does! Keep everything crossed for me :D
