What a fantastic name huh!  Marvin The Great MkII, or affectionately known as ‘Marvin’ was integrated as a family member today.  All say ahhhh.

I don’t like to say he’s a replacement for Muffin The Mouser but more of an appendage to the clan.  We’ll never forget Muffin but of course, he’s gone, so long live Marvin! :heart:

He’s an absolutely adorable Apricot Persian… hasn’t stopped purring since we first picked him up off the floor at the breeders (except for right now because he’s sleeping) and is full of beans (see previous caveat).   Queue ‘ahhhh’ again!

Don’t quote me, but I believe Lottie and I are out on the boat for a short cruise this coming weekend… check back for confirmation of my hopes and dreams :lol:

It’s ‘loo’ day tomorrow… another chance for me to test the endurance of my lungs as I practise holding my breath for as long as possible.  Yes, I could breath through my mouth but it’s still ‘going in’! :lol:

Mind you, the other slight irritation of filling the water tank will be a little more straight forward.  I’ve affixed my hosing so that it’s permanently in the filler hole and only have to attach to the tap and turn the bugger on.  Not particularly the work of Einstein but less of an irritation on a weekly basis.

It’s amazing how ingenious one becomes when necessary.  And tomorrow, for my finale, I shall be making a spiders gymnasium out of used ice-lolly sticks, straws and margarine tubs.

I’m also tirelessly practising chop-stick fly eradication.  It’s far more interesting than using Raid and a tad more satisfying.

My new job’s going well and it all seems straight forward.  Until I get to my permanent team I suspect. :lol:

Right… I’m back to flailing like an extra from the film Birds, only with flies and self harm by slapping various part of my revealed flesh… it’s almost a bit masochistic.. or is it sadistic?  I’ll go with the first one

OK, so I was out dancing all night last night, got home at 2.30pm today and haven’t slept at all as yet but when this duck approached my boat today I seriously questioned my mental state :lol:

At first I thought I was hallucinating so took a photograph to prove (to you and I) that my brain is in full, if not slow, working order.

It looks like a patchwork of several ducks and what’s with the two weird eyes!

Anyone know what this duck is?
